Attention small to medium sized businesses, we aim to offer you a range of affordable, accredited, quality assured mobile learning solutions. No need to send your staff out for an entire day, all of our courses can be completed on a pc, laptop or tablet with an internet connection, saving you time and money.

If accreditation is important to you, be re-assured that we offer optional formal accreditation through Open College Network West Midlands. They are a national Awarding Organisation, regulated by Ofqual and the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA).

Claire ArthurCEO
Claire specialises in the voluntary and community sectors, where she has had a successful career in several key roles throughout the country. Her experience covers support, development, leadership, management and training, including writing and delivering programmes nationally for supplementary schools and managing the national quality framework.

Her expert knowledge in instructional design and development of e-learning material have been critical in the technical development of the product suite that is available through Biz Training Solutions.

Maxine Clark
Maxine ClarkDirector
Maxine has a wealth of experience in teaching and training and development, primarily for disadvantaged families and the organisations that support them. A training design specialist, who has managed and delivered numerous and wide ranging training packages across the UK. Her work has led to 2 national awards for learning and development and country wide recognition from the Family and Parenting Institute, a field she has a significant and invaluable track record in. Her product knowledge and language skills have been at the centre of the development of key elements of the courses now available from Biz Training Solutions.
George Billings

George joined the team in January 2016, full of energy with a positive outlook, George is a great new addition to our team.

George will be managing our social media accounts, working with our trainers to respond quickly and efficiently to learner’s queries.

He’ll also be working closely with the team to produce e-bulletins, keeping people posted with what’s up and coming, new courses and lots more.

Tara has worked with our team for over two years. She has extensive experience working in the community and voluntary sector. She is a qualified Psychologist with a 15 year career in social work, mental health, community development and housing with a successful track record in consultancy, training and project management

Lesley Boughey

Lesley is an expert practitioner in a number of different fields with an honours degree and over 25 years’ experience/training working with families and children, 20 years’ experience of working in the voluntary sector and in partnership across sectors and Four years’ experience as an independent trainer: designing and delivering training packages. She is passionate about learning and self-development and is an integral part of our team.

A Grade 1 – Outstanding Adult Tutor with a wealth of experience of working with and developing curriculums to meet the needs of disadvantaged individuals and groups including long term unemployed, mental health problems, substance misuse and health and wellbeing issues.

Have extensive experience in developing policies and procedures including recruitment and selection and support and supervision. Competent, trustworthy and enthusiastic with a wealth of experience working with and for Voluntary and Statutory Organisations. Passionate about supporting individuals to reach their potential and working with organisations to achieve their aims.

Paul Longmore

Paul has served for 30 years with Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service at various locations and positions, leaving the Service at the rank of Group Manager (previously known as Divisional Officer). Whilst in the Service Paul’s roles included; Fire Safety Inspecting Officer, Fire Safety Team Leader, Station Commander, Fire Safety District Officer, Divisional Officer and Area Commander for the Lichfield Area Command.

He is a corporate member of the Institution of Fire Engineers and a Technical member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Since retiring from the Fire and Rescue Service in 2012, Paul has worked with many organisations to develop their fire risk assessments and to deliver fire safety training.

Paul still maintains links with the Fire Service as a member of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Ceremonial Squad.

Paul assists pupils at Woodhouse Middle School in Biddulph with their preparation for and taking of SAT tests. He is also a qualified football referee and cricket umpire.

Mile Taylor

The Health and Safety Executive does not accept e-learning, blended learning or any other form of distance learning as a valid form of delivery for first aid. Therefore we do not offer this as an e-learning option.

In response to this we have a first class trainer who can provide a range of first aid training courses in a classroom environment, giving you the knowledge and confidence in your practical first aid skills.

Mike Taylor has been training and assessing First Aid since 2003. He is a fully qualified teacher, holding a PGCE. Mike has previously held various roles within the leisure industry including those at a management level. He is also a Community First Responder attending 999 calls on behalf of West Midlands Ambulance Service.
